JEE Main Exam Pattern for Paper 1: B.E/B.Tech
JEE Main 2025 Total Number of Questions
There will be a total of 90 questions in JEE Main 2025 Paper-1, out of which a candidate needs to answer only 75. Each Subject will have two sections. Section A will have 20 MCQs and Section B will have 10 Numerical value type questions. In Section B, candidates have to attempt any 5 questions out of 10.

The JEE Advanced examination will have two papers (Paper 1 and Paper 2) of three hour duration each. Both the papers are compulsory. Each question paper will consist of three separate sections - Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
